"FULL MONTY" TREATMENT FOR THE KENWOOD TS-711/811

The Kenwood TS-711 (2M) and TS-811 (70CM) is one of the best multi-mode V/U rigs around. They are not prone to any particular trouble, however there are routine maintenance things that need to be done:

Replace the memory battery

bullet

Replace C51, audio output capacitor

bullet

Replace meter lamp if needed

bullet

Lube VFO shaft and encoder detent solenoid

bullet

Adj main encoder SIN/COS channels

bullet

Adj 9v TX and 13.8v supplies on the AVR unit

bullet

Align RF and IF stages

bullet

Resolder PLL and AVR unit as needed

bullet

Any other minor repairs needed

All this for a Flat Rate of only $179 (major parts and shipping extra).
