"FULL MONTY" TREATMENT FOR THE TS-120/130S/V

The Kenwood TS-120S and TS-130S (a 120 with the so-called "WARC bands"; the "V" model is a rare QRP version) are great starter rigs; they also perform yeoman duty as a good standby or second rig. As a dedicated 10M radio or transverter "IF rig" they offer great performance at a very reasonable price. As with all older rigs, the '120 and '130 benefit from these FULL MONTY service:

	Replace audio output cap
	Align rig RF, IF stages
	Clean controls and switches
	Replace meter lamp if needed
	Lube VFO shaft and bandswitch gearset
	Add ground strap to rear of RF unit to prevent ALC "takeoff" on 10-20 meters (this is actually a transmitter oscillation)
	Set final and driver bias per factory spec; adjust power output, protection and meter calibration as needed
	Resolder PLL unit as needed
	Any other minor repairs needed

All this for a Flat Rate of only $169 (major parts and shipping extra).

NOTE
If we have to pull the RF unit to replace switching diodes, that will be an additional charge, depending on complexity. It's about another two hours on the bench to complete this task.

Some front panel controls are unavailable for the TS-120/130S/V. If yours becomes damaged in shipping, we may not be able to replace it. See the SHIPPING PAGE for packing instructions. Use of the original box for shipping is not recommended.
